In the face of adversity, there are those who rise above, who selflessly dedicate themselves to the safety and well-being of our communities. Our local first responders embody courage, compassion, and resilience as they stand on the frontlines, protecting us when we need it most. But behind their unwavering commitment, there lies a toll that goes unseen—the toll of intense and demanding situations that can leave them physically and emotionally drained.

In deep gratitude for the sacrifices made by our heroes, VODA has undertaken a meaningful mission to aid them on their journey towards healing and well-being. Inspired by their selfless service and personally experiencing the protection they provided when our offices and residence were threatened during the fires, we have launched the Rest and Recovery Program. This initiative is dedicated to offering our local first responders the essential rest, rejuvenation, and self-care resources they deserve.

At the heart of our initiative are the Rest and Recovery Kits, thoughtfully curated collections designed to aid in the recovery process of our brave first responders. These kits encompass a range of products carefully selected to address their physical and mental well-being, promoting balance, and offering a pathway to renewal.

Within each Rest and Recovery Kit, first responders will find an assortment of items aimed at supporting their recovery journey. 

This kit includes:

2. Cooling Foot and Hand Balm: Perfect for soothing dry and tired skin in these areas.

Making a Meaningful Impact

But our initiative extends beyond providing essential tools for self-care. With each Rest and Recovery Kit purchased, $20 from the sale of each kit will be Donated to the United Way and other organizations dedicated to supporting families affected by devastating wildfires. By supporting our heroes, we also stand beside those who have suffered from the devastating consequences of these natural disasters.
